Dublin

Dublin is one of the East Bay’s fastest-changed cities: diverse, full of newer housing, and anchored by the Dublin/Pleasanton BART stations. The Tri-Valley commute starts here.

West Dublin and Dublin/Pleasanton stations put San Francisco on a long but real train ride. Around them are shopping, new apartments, and subdivisions that did not exist a generation ago. The city is more international in its everyday restaurants than the old East Bay stereotype allows.

It is hotter and newer than Oakland, and less precious than Danville. Families use it for the housing stock and the freeway position between the bay and the valley.
